If you work hard- you will reap the benefits. PUHCHUH!
I just don't know what to make of today- I'm so upset and pissed off! I weighed in this morning- expecting to have lost at least 4lbs- and I have gained 2lbs. Will someone please explain to me how this is even possible? In the last weeks I have had no chocolate, alcohol, I've cut out sugar, white carbs,Eating after 7pm, adhered to weight watchers points (18/day), and exercised rigorously (yes, cardio). How how how? I haven't been eating in between meals and I've been drinking loads of water. I'm not awaiting my period and I haven't been doing weights. Please tell me how? I feel like balling my eyes out!
This seems like a juvenile excuse but it has to be the weighing scales- doesn't it? Having said that, my Mother weighed herself on it this morning and she said it's accurate for her. I now have 3 weeks to loose a stone- wanna also tell me how I'm going to manage this? I'm not going to be able to give this money to Chernobyl if something doesn't change drastically.

your small weight gain
jen our body weight fluctuates 2-3lbs everyday depending on how much water we have had before the weigh in. I really wouldn't worry so much about gaining 2lbs. I'd be more concerned if it was 5-10lbs. How long have you been doing this regimen of yours? Some people just have a harder time losing weight, especially if you have a history being overweight. It really just takes time. Some people will work out and diet for 3-4 months w/o anything happening, but sooner or later the weight loss starts and it usually just rolls from there. Try to find a simpler, and easier way for you to lose weight. For instance, take the diet one step at a time. Instead of cutting out so many things, just cut out one, say chocolate. Once you get used to that, add something else. It will make it easier for you to stick to it, and also keep exercising, and you need to lift weights. The more lean muscle mass you have, the more calories you constantly burn. Just try to find a type of exercise you enjoy, dancing, hiking whatever. The point is to try to have fun because working out is a long-term thing. Anyway sorry i haven't written, been real busy, but i always read your live journal.mike
